The Orchard Church mission trip to Haiti: July 1-8, 2013. 

The Orchard Church will be sponsoring a short-term mission trip to Gonaives, Haiti, in partnership with Audrey Boatwright of Beyond All Boundaries, and the New Hope Community Fellowship Church (formerly Gambrills COG).  This will be the 5th trip for Orchard members as they work to partner in long-term mission in that area.  The trip will be from July 1-8, 2013.  As on past trips, members of other COGs are welcome to join the Orchard Team.  Please hold the team up in prayer, and, if interested in possibly joining the team or providing support, please contact Mark Bodycombe at maka1205@yahoo.com.

National Church of God Health Insurance Plan Announced

CDP Ministries is excited to announce that a national health insurance plan has been secured through the efforts of the Pension Board of the Church of God and Church of God Ministries. This is the answer to a long-standing prayer of so many as the securing of affordable health insurance has been one of the most difficult things for so many ministers and churches to do.

 

This plan is the same benefit plan afforded pastors in the Southern Baptist Convention and at great rates. There will be several available options from which to choose and each pastor or church will be able to pick and choose according to their budget. Guidestone Financial Resources has made this possible with access to the nationwide Blue Cross Blue Shield network. Health Plans will be available beginning May 1, 2012.

 

Information should come in the mail to every registered minister of the Church of God within the month. Be watching your mailbox.
